Jannette Botha our clinical prosthetist has received extensive training in the field of post-mastectomy and aesthetic prosthetics. She has over 10 years of specialized experience in the post-mastectomy field. She learned the basics of business and customer service from her parents in their family business. Weekends and holidays were spent working in the store and after matriculating she applied to study at the Tshwane University of Technology in Pretoria.
She started her career in 2002 and immediately fell in love with Orthotics and Prosthetics. After completing her B.Tech in 2007, she joined the Prosthetics team at 1 Military hospital. Here she implemented the standardised post-op program for mastectomy patients. After 3 years in numerous private practices, she decided to open ALMOST U PROSTHETICS in 2011.
Since 2011, she has dedicated all her time to improve the quality of her patients’ lives. In 2013, she received a small business award from TALK RADIO 702, where she was the youngest nominee.
During the last 10 years, she has built a solid reputation as the youngest trusted AMOENA PARTNER. In her spare time, Jannette enjoys travelling to South African destinations, she travels extensively between the two practices and enjoys the uniquely South African landscapes and cultures. She enjoys snorkelling and urban exploring.
